Introduction

Historique

The company of ironwork had been created in 1906 - there is one hundred years ago - by Mr.Quinton, and it had been bought by Mr.Ody in 1925.

atelierWith the arrival of Remi CREZE who finished there like a 'Compagnon du Devoir' (Journeyman of Duty = a famous French journeymen association) his ten years formation, the company becomes metallery.

In 1993 it moves from center of Rennes to Saint-Jacques de la Lande, town very close to Rennes, by changing name and becoming the family company Remi CREZE of wrought ironwork and metalworkin

atelierIt diversifies its activity in three directions:

Building

- traditional: steel frame.

- steel canopies

Ironwork

- for the private sale : banisters, hand-rails, staircases,, gates, doors and any other steel elements of building.

- Restoration of classified buildings : for example the Palate of a Prince in SEES, in Normandy, Hotel of the Thermal baths in Saint-Malo, Places Vendome, Palais Garnier, Matignon, Council of State in Paris

Building sites in Japan, in America, with the Emirates (Kuwait)

Stainless and brass

- for example furniture and layouts.

Canopies

Since 2005, M.CREZE develops in an important way the sector 'canopies' of the company.

They are not industrial verandas with aluminium, but some steel galleries personalized with the original drawings.

The customers are ensured to acquire

a priceless canopy !

The sign

enseigneIt represents the alliance of the locksmith's trade and the wrought ironwork.

One will notice on the key the two greyhound bitches, at the same time representative of the town of Rennes since they frame its blazon, and traditional symbol of fidelity.
