Verandas and canopies
In the mind of the public, the veranda is a construction glazed out 
of aluminium.
The advertising executives wrongly entered this idea the mind of the potential buyers, by associating this metal and the concepts of modernity and inalterability. What 's happening really?
A veranda is a gallery glazed against a house, generally serving as small living room. 'A veranda projects its cage of glass in the middle of the frontage' (Honore de Balzac) (Dictionary the Robert)
A canopy is a large glazing, the glazed wall of a veranda etc. 
Example: the canopy of a station (Dictionary 'the Robert') and, by extension, a veranda.

wanted to dissociate his productions out of steel of the aluminum verandas produced with the chain. For this reason it decided to call them, not verandas, but canopies.
Remi CREZE defends the steel 
which, treated as it agrees by - zinking - an experienced professional, has one duration in time equal to that of aluminium.
The manufactoring process of steel is SIX times less devourer of energy than aluminium's.
Steel is ecological.
Much easier to handle than aluminium, it lends itself to varied and beautiful forms. It is a material which can be to some extent carved
by the ironworker. Its aesthetic advantages are indisputable and it makes it possible to give a true and original personality to the project.
Last - but not the least ! - the thermal conductivity of steel is FIVE times lesser than aluminium's.
